The Valley Women’s Ministry is a ministry that serves to introduce women to Jesus and show them living examples of what it looks like to be a follower of Jesus. We’re here to serve the community, so you don’t have to come to Valley Church to join us!
Here are some of the ways we help women connect to Jesus:
ONE-ON-ONE MENTORING
Meet weekly with a mentor who cares about teaching you important things about being a follower of Jesus. For more information on mentoring or to request a mentor, contact Gail Burkhalter.
LIFE GROUPS
Small groups that allow women to get to know each other and fellowship, while learning and discussing the Bible. We meet with the men each Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm for Equip Wednesdays for a time of Biblical instruction in the areas of spiritual, health, relationships, career, and finances. All are invited. There you can learn more about mentoring and other small groups where you can connect. We also have other co-ed Home Groups that start each semester and last about 6 weeks.

DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS
Small groups of women who want to go deeper in their study and have higher accountability. A place to get real about the challenges of life and how to overcome them through the power of an abiding relationship with Jesus. We have new D-groups forming each quarter with some lasting a few weeks and others lasting longer.
We are currently working to start more D-groups for women. We are hoping to start a Journey group in the very near future.

MISSIONS
We have various opportunities to help people in the community with the skills and resources we have. It is a blessing to be a blessing to others.
EVENTS
Periodically through the year, we host events for the women of our community. Previously, these have included fellowships, dinners, and painting nights. We also attend the annual Women of Joy conference in Pigeon Forge, TN each October.
